Domain Registration Terms of Service

The terms and conditions governing domain name registration and renewal through SuperCode.

Last updated: 2026-08-20

1. Definitions & Acceptance

  • "Provider" / "We": SuperCode — Palestine, acting as an authorized Reseller of ICANN-accredited domain registrars.
  • "Customer" / "You": The Registrant of the domain name.
  • "Domain": The domain name purchased by the Customer with a right to use.
  • "Registry": The authority responsible for managing the domain extension (.com, .net, .ps, etc.).

Purchasing or renewing any domain means acceptance of this Agreement and the terms of the relevant Registry.

2. Registration & Ownership

The Customer obtains a right to use the domain for a fixed period (typically one year), not permanent ownership.

  • The Provider acts as a Reseller — the actual Registrar is an ICANN-accredited company.
  • The Customer is the official "Registrant" and their name appears in Whois data.
  • Registration is subject to name availability — reserved or unavailable names cannot be registered.
  • Some extensions (like .ps) may require additional documents or conditions.

3. ICANN & Registry Rules

Domain registration is subject to the rules of ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and the rules of the relevant Registry for each extension.

  • ICANN's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to all domains.
  • The Registry may impose additional restrictions based on the domain extension.
  • The Customer is bound to review ICANN's rights and responsibilities for registrants: https://www.icann.org

4. Whois Data

The Customer is bound to provide accurate and truthful data at domain registration, and to update it upon any change.

  • Required data: name, email, phone, address, country.
  • Providing false data leads to domain cancellation by the Registry or ICANN.
  • Whois Privacy service may be available for some extensions as a paid add-on.

5. Renewal & Expiration

  • The domain must be renewed before its expiration date, otherwise it moves to "Expired" status.
  • The Provider sends renewal reminders 30, 15, and 5 days before expiration.
  • The Customer is responsible for timely renewal. Non-receipt of a reminder does not exempt renewal.
  • After expiration, the domain enters a "Grace Period" (typically 30 days) during which renewal is possible at standard price.
  • Then a "Redemption Period" (30 days) allows renewal with additional fees (set by Registries, typically $60-$200).
  • After that, the domain is dropped and becomes available for anyone to purchase.

6. Domain Transfer

  • The Customer may transfer their domain to any other provider after 60 days from initial registration or last transfer.
  • Transfer requires an authorization code (Auth Code / EPP Code) which the Provider supplies upon request.
  • Transfer fees typically include an additional year of renewal.
  • The Provider imposes no restrictions on transfer beyond what ICANN and Registries stipulate.

7. Disputes (UDRP)

Any dispute over domain ownership (such as trademark infringement) is subject to ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).

  • The Provider is not a party to any UDRP dispute, and complies with any decision issued by an accredited arbitration body.
  • The Customer bears full responsibility for choosing a domain name that does not infringe on others' rights.

8. Fees & Refunds

  • Domain registration fees are non-refundable after registration is completed, even if canceled within minutes.
  • Renewal fees are non-refundable.
  • Transfer fees are non-refundable.
  • Redemption Period fees are high and imposed by Registries directly, beyond the Provider's control.
  • Domain pricing may change at any time based on the relevant Registries.

9. Prohibited Uses

Domains registered through the Provider may not be used for any of the following:

  • Impersonation of persons or trademarks not owned by the Customer.
  • Phishing sites or fraud.
  • Distribution of viruses or malware.
  • Illegal content (child abuse material, terrorism, incitement).
  • Violation of intellectual property rights.
  • Cybersquatting (registering domains of known trademarks with intent to sell).

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The Provider does not guarantee the availability of any domain name before completing the registration.
  • The Provider is not liable for domain service outages caused by Registries or ICANN.
  • The Provider is not liable for domain loss due to non-renewal or non-payment of Redemption fees.
  • The Provider's maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the domain's registration/renewal.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Palestine, and by ICANN policies within the scope of international domain rules. Any judicial dispute shall be under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nablus Governorate.
